We meet again after 4 long months. He was a sad and frightened little boy at first, but it didn't take long for him to see, God's love had come to set him free.
EVERY TIME I HEAR THE ABOVE SONG, I NEARLY DROWN IN TEARS!
HUMBLE, THANKFUL TEARS, FOR THE RANSOM THAT WAS PAID FOR A SINNER LIKE ME.
AND HUMBLE, THANKFUL TEARS,
FOR THE LITTLE ONE WHO HAS ALSO BEEN FREED.

I ONCE WAS LOST BUT NOW I'M FOUND
WAS BLIND BUT NOW I SEE.
I will never forget the world in which Gabe lived for the first 5 yrs. of his life.
I will never understand how a whole society can see these kids as useless and unworthy of love.
It has been an amazing year since we brought this little guy home. He has already taught us so much. What an honor and blessing it is to be his momma.
Thank you Lord, for this opportunity and for YOUR AMAZING GRACE,
AND ENDING LOVE.

When God summons your name, whether it be through a whisper or a shout.....
you don't have to go.
You see, He will accomplish His purpose, with or without you.
But if you want to experience the fullness of His love, then pursue Him with reckless abandon and take the adventure.
Throw caution to the wind, and say YES LORD, I'M ALL IN.
LET'S GO.
AND LET THE JOURNEY BEGIN.

I remember the scared little look on his face at the institution last year. Now he is so happy. What a thrill so see Gabe with that big smile in all those pictures. He is special! Praise God!
ReplyDeleteKime, this is the best, it's hard to believe that he looks so different in just 365 days. It is a MIRACLE, nothing less than GOD'S MIRACLE. HE HAS SHOWN HIMSELF TO ME THROUGH GABE, I will never be the same again, when i touch Gabe, it's like touching our HEAVENLY FATHER. Bless this precious little orphan boy, he was waiting these five years for his Mama & PaPa to save him & they did. GOD BLESS YOU RICK & KIM for answering GOD's call & your faithfulness to our Father GOD. Thank you for allowing us to be part of this wonderful story.
